We had the opportunity to photograph some unique design concepts at the Longview Gallery in D.C. yesterday. It was a lot of fun! The concepts were meant to showcase design ideas for wedding, social, and corporate events. Designed to be more unique and out-of-the-norm than what you may expect to see at today’s events. It’s always a pleasure to work with Terri Eaves of Bash who put together the whole production and many thanks go out to her for allowing us to provide the imagery! A few shout outs to those who provided their services on the shoot:
Capital Décor and Events – décor and furniture
John Farr Lighting – lighting
Longview Gallery – Suzi Molak – venue
Party Rental – rentals
Philippa Tarrant Floral Design – flowers
Main Event Caterers – food & delicious desserts
Now it’s on to the images!
I’m always amazed to see how fast kids grow–especially during their first year… but this kid has gotten so big! He has such a great smile and you can really see each of his parents in his expressions! Here’s to many more years of great smiles and great pictures!
After her senior portraits at Wakefield School, Alex was interested in doing a session here at the RP Studio! We had a great time with her boppin’ around town and were able to get some great shots!
Thank you Alex for coming out to see us–we know you’re going to love the images!
We had the opportunity last week to photograph the demo of a cutting-edge product used in construction. The Pro-Ring™* is made of a polypropylene composite material and designed as a grade adjustment ring (spacer) between a manhole cover and the cone section of a sewer system. Pretty interesting, right?? Marketed by Cretex, the Pro-Ring™ replaces the large concrete collars you may have seen loaded atop tractor-trailers while driving on the highway. The demonstration was meant to show not only the ultra-light weight of this material, but also the structural integrity as well. I was certainly impressed as the 45-ton excavator drove over and parked on top of the ring without even damaging it!
A special thanks goes out to Al Thompson & Bob Stockmaster for the opportunity to provide imagery for the marketing of their new product, and S.W. Rodgers Construction for providing the equipment used in the shoot!
*The Pro-Ring™ is a JSP International LLC Product. Pro-Ring™ is a registered trademark of JSP Licenses, Inc.
This is such a cute couple! We have known them for several years and they are finally tying the knot!:) They have chosen the gorgeous Oatlands Plantation to host their wedding and we are super excited for them. We can’t say enough about how kind they are as individuals… and what a cute couple they make together!
Reese & Ian – Thank you for coming out to see us, we can’t wait to work with you guys next year!!
We had this handsome family out to the studio for a session and had a blast! It was cute to see the little ones interact with each other and how the little girl loves to be in charge! She will be a lot of fun to watch as she grows older–I have no doubt she’ll be able to keep her brothers in line!
We had a great time with these kids!! They were pretty excited about the session they had planned as a surprise Christmas gift for their Grandma:) Growing up as a kid I used to work on a cattle ranch near where we lived, so I can certainly appreciate the cowboy boots!
Thank you all for coming out to see us; I know your G-ma will love the images!
We had Matthew and his proud parents, Holly and Mike out to the studio for Matthew’s 4 month session. He is such a cute kid–with a great smile and chubby little legs! This was his first in-studio portrait session and let me tell you… he was awestruck by all the lights and sounds of the day:) Congratulations again to Holly & Mike on their first baby boy!!
Congratulations to Prema and Raj on their firstborn baby! This was such a cute little boy–they are very proud! This RP 36 session took place in their home which allowed for some great images in a more casual setting. I love having the opportunity to document these first few weeks of the baby’s life.
Congrats again to you guys and we can’t wait to see little Sachin grow!
Tommy had a few head shots taken at the studio last week for some promotional materials he’s working on. He works with EXIT Realty and is probably one of the nicest and most sincere people I know. Thanks for coming to see us Tommy, it is always a pleasure!
